Description
Robert Bisset, lord of Upsettlington, with the consent and will of his wife, Christina, has given, granted and by this his charter established, to Kelso Abbey in pure and perpetual alms, the Hospital of St Leonard in his territory of Upsettlington (BWK) next to the [River] Tweed and opposite Horndean, with all its pertinents and easements and other liberties. The abbot and monks will provide a chaplain in the same place to celebrate the divine service, and support for two paupers in the same place.
