Description
An agreement is formed between Sir W[illiam], bishop of St Andrews, and Sir A[lexander], abbot, and the convent of Coupar whereby the bishop has granted, and established by his charter to Coupar Angus Abbey, the whole apdaine of Airlie (ANG) for twenty years, rendering at Martinmas 2 bezants, 10 stones of cheese and 12 Scottish sacks of barley, reserving the cain of Sir Malcolm of Kettins and his heirs. At the end of twenty years, the land will revert to the bishop unless with the consent of himself and his successors the monks can continue to hold it.
