Document 4/20/45 B (Inchaff. Chrs., no. 92)

Description
Tristram of Gorthy announces that an agreement was made between himself and the abbot and convent of Inchaffray, over the land of ‘Cambinche’ (PER), which was adjudged by prudent men to lie in common between them, in perpetuity. Tristram quitclaimed the said lands in perpetuity to the said abbot and convent in the court of the lord earl of Strathearn, renouncing the lands in pure, free and perpetual alms. The abbot and convent have granted Tristram and his wife Christina fraternity of the monastery, in prayers, alms, book of obits and all other goods which are generally done for those with confraternity.
