Description
An agreement, with the consent of the chapter of Dunkeld, between (i) Geoffrey, bishop of Dunkeld, who, in the name of his church of Forgan[denny] (PER), claimed the teinds of the ‘petit’ land of [Abbots] Deuglie (PER), and (ii) Cambuskenneth Abbey, who held the whole land of Deuglie in pure and perpetual alms. Cambuskenneth Abbey, whether they cultivated the land of Deuglie themselves or let it out in farm to others, should pay 100 shillings of silver yearly to the bishop's mensa, in return for all the teinds, excepting offerings and the dues of burial of the dead.
