Description
Memorandum that an agreement was formed between Dunfermline Abbey and the vicar of Inverkeithing concerning the payment of money to the papal legate from the parish churches in Scotland. It was decided in the chapter at Auchtermuchty that the clerics, being instituted in the same church at the presentation of Ph[ilip] de Mowbray and G[aliena?], his wife, shall answer for all episcopal dues and all other burdens and that the said monks shall be free from the payment of the money.
