Description
Agreement between (i) the rectors of the the church of Markinch (FIF), namely, the prior and convent of St Andrews, and their vicar, and (ii) William the parson of Kilgour (FIF), and his vicar, with approval of Malcolm, earl of Fife, over the teinds of 'Petthechelac'. The whole teind of that land which Earl Malcolm added, granted, and by his charter made firm, to Sir Malcolm de Melville, both in corn and all other obventions, freely, quietly, wholly, peacefully, and without any dispute shall remain with the church of Markinch and it rectors for ever. The rectors of the church of Kilgour shall possess the whole of what remains in respect of the matter in dispute.
