Document 3/389/4 (Kel. Lib., no. 56)

Description
William Maule has remitted and quitclaimed all charges which he may have said were owed to him in the fishery of 'Redehouh' (BWK) to Kelso Abbey and will not follow through any charge against the monks relating to any fishery which may be, or was, between the pool fishery of Orde (BWK) and the fishery of Blackwell (BWK). The monks received him, his wife and his heirs into their fraternity and made them partakers of every benefit of the church.
