Description
Agreement is (i) Robert, bishop of Ross, and (ii) John Bisset, over the right of patronage of the church of Kiltarlity (INV). The bishop, with the consent of the chapter of Rosemarkie and his other clerics of Ross, has quitclaimed all right in the said church to John Bisset, for his homage and service. John Bisset has quitclaimed whatever rights or exactions which he or his predecessors at any time had, or customs they were wont to have in the aforesaid churchland. John has also offered 15 marks to the fabric of the church of St Peter of Rosemarkie and one stone of wax annually for the lighting of the altar of the same church. The bishop, the dean, and the canons have taken up John in all their prayers.
