Description
An agreement was made between Sir Patrick (I), earl of Dunbar, and Thomas, prior of Coldingham concerning the marsh of Billie. Earl Patrick has given to St Cuthbert and the said prior and monks of Coldingham the entire half of Billie as their right, the half, that is, between the two Restons and Auchencraw on one side and Chirnside and Blackburn on the other.
