Description
Agreement between (i) S[imon], bishop of Moray, and (ii) Freskin of Moray, lord of Duffus, over the use of the moor of Spynie and Findrassie (MOR), and their pasture, namely, over a piece of land called ‘Logynhauedale’. The bishop has granted the use of the woods and the moor to Freskin, as according to the agreement made between Bishop Andrew and Walter of Moray (4/16/6), as contained in their chirograph. The bishop has also granted to Freskin common pasture within the bounds laid out in that document. The bishop has also granted to Freskin the land of ‘Logyn’. For this grant, Freskin has given and granted common in his pasture and in his wood in the aforesaid land of Findrassie (MOR) as far as the Saltecot which is between Findrassie and Kintrae (MOR), in free and quit alms.
