Description
An agreement is formed between Prior John and the canons of St Andrews and Master Laurence, archdeacon of St Andrews, and Sir W[illiam], archdeacon of Lothian, whereby since William, late bishop of St Andrews, had gone the way of the flesh, it was agreed that the community shall take part in the election of his successor, saving the right of both parties so that neither shall be prejudiced in either possessions or petitions.
