An inquest was made at Traquair, whether Agatha Spink has a right to a house and pertinents there in the villa of Traquair (PEB). The jurors, William the smith, Thomas […], Andrew ‘Suerwyn’, Gilbert ‘Mandewel’, Richard Ruffus, Thomas of le Schele […], Thomas Bunting, Gilbert of Ormiston, William son of Gillemuire [of Ormiston], [Richard?], the miller, Roger of the Mount, say that Agatha had this right, that her brother Robert Spink bought the said house and pertinents from Lady Ada wife of the late Sir Henry of Braid, by charter, and died seised therein.
