Description
John of Auldhouse, son of Roger of Auldhouse, has given, granted, and by this his present writing quitclaimed and resigned to the abbot and convent of Paisley all right that he claimed to a certain portion of land in Auldhouse, which Patrick son of Nevyn’ held at ferme from the said monks. He recognises that he unjustly raised the question over the [ownership] of the land, which is an endowment of the church of St Conghal of Pollok. He wills and grants that abbot and convent should have the said portion of land in perpetuity, without any distrurbance.
