Description
Bernard of Airth and Helen his spouse have received 46 marks, 8s 10d and a halfpenny from the lord abbot and convent of Paisley, thus reaching the 140 marks which were agreed in the lawsuit between them, as well as John de Wardrobe and Paisley Abbey, over the lands of Cochno (DNB), Edinbarnet (DNB), Faifley (DNB), Baccan (DNB) and Drumcreve (DNB), from which 46 marks 8s 10d and a halfpenny are acknowledged to have been fully paid, and whence further money is not to be paid. They renounce expressly, willing and granting that the writing made regarding all of the aforesaid money, to the extent that it touches upon them, will not be of value or force.
