Description
Richard of Bikerton, knight, has given, granted, and established by this his present charter, to Newbattle Abbey three acres of land in the holding of ‘Byning’ (Binny, WLO, or Binniehill, STL?), which lie nearest the land and houses of the said abbot and convent, in free, pure and perpetual alms, with common pasture pertaining to five acres of land, and with free entry and exit.
