Henry of Braid, knight, has given and granted to Holyrood Abbey, his whole waste and land of Bavelaw (MLO), which he holds from the lord king in his waste of Pentland, in free, pure and perpetual alms, to the support of the divine office of the Chapel of Blessed Katherine in Pentland, in perpetuity.
