Description
John Bisset, for the soul of William, late king of Scots, and for the welfare of his lord, Alexander, illustrious king of Scots, has granted and by his charter established to the church of St Peter and the leper house of Rathven in pure and perpetual alms, the church of Kiltarlity (INV), with all its pertinents. And Sir Andrew, bishop of Moray, at his (John’s) instance, support and presentation, has admitted William as prior of the house. He has given, granted and by his charter established to the leper house of Rathven in pure and perpetual alms, for their own uses, to their support in perpetuity, with all its just pertinents in lands, teinds, oblations, obventions and all other ecclesiastical rights.
