Ralph Burnard, son and heir of Roger Burnard, for the love of God and St Kentigern, has given, granted, and by this his charter established, to Sir Walter, bishop of Glasgow, fuel from his peataries of Fairnington (ROX) at their house of Ancrum (ROX) without waste, in free, pure and perpetual alms.
