Description
Thomas of Brotherstone, for the welfare of John his son, has given and granted to Dryburgh Abbey in perpetuity one acre in the territory of Whitrig (BWK) next to the six acres that the canons have towards the west by gift of his grandfather Elias, in perpetual and pure alms, free from secular exaction and demand, saving the lord’s multure.
