Description
John of Lambden has given, granted and by this his charter established to Kelso Abbey, in free and perpetual alms, the toft and croft in the villa of Lambden (BWK) near the toft of the church, just as Nigel, the chaplain, held the toft and croft. He gave this toft and croft to them for the salvation of his soul and all of his ancestors and successors.
