Description
Gilbert son of Haldane of Hume has granted, and so much as pertains to him, has given and by this charter established to Kelso Abbey the chapel of Wedderlie (BWK) with every eccelesiastical benefit of those living and dead, five acre of arable land at the toft and croft, five acres of arable land in the plain and pasture for 100 sheep, 40 cows and the lambs of 100 sheep and the calfs of 40 animals until they complete one year, and he granted to them all the common easements of the villa, in free and perpetual alms, for the soul of his father and for the salvation of his soul and all of his ancestors and successors.
