Description
Simon Lockhart has given, granted, and established by this his present charter, to Kelso Abbey the church which is called Woodkirk (i.e. Thankerton) (LAN) with the land and everything justly pertaining to it, in free and perpetual alms, for the salvation of his soul and the souls of his father and mother and for the salvation of his ancestors and successors, with the pasture and common easements of his villa.
