Description
John le Cras son of Richard le Cras has quitclaimed to Dunfermline Abbey all right that he had to the land that was called ‘villa Gospatric’ and is now called ‘Kaldestanis’ with all its pertinents, in exchange for the lands of the late Robert Hod and the lands of Robert the carpenter with three acres of marsh on the north side of Garvock (FIF) and for a certain amount of money paid in advance in his very great necessity, as contained in his charter. He has resigned to the abbot and convent all instruments and charters of the said land that he had. Moreover, his wife Isabella grants the same, and for all right which she had in the said land, she will received annually one chalder of oatmeal for the rest of her life from the granger.
