Description
Adam son of Edulf has given, granted and by this his present charter established, to Constantine his son, for his homage and service, a certain piece of his land in the territory of Eddleston (PEB) which used to be called ‘Penjacob’ (later ‘Gillemureston’), by stated bounds, with one acre of land that is between the same and the high road, and with a meadow, and common pasture, and all common easements in his feu of Eddleston, in feu and heritage, making the service of 1/20th part of a knight.
