Description
Memorandum that Constantine (son of Adam, son of Edulf) resigned and quitclaimed to William, bishop of Glasgow, all right that he had in the lands (in the territory of Eddleston, called Penjacob) in perpetuity. Adam had no right in the said villa, and neither he nor his father had had entry the said villa of Eddleston (PEB) unless by Richard de Moreville and by William his son, who had no right, except by reason of [feu]ferme for a period of 15 years, as contained fully in Richard’s charter.
