Description
Richard de Fréville has given, granted and by this his charter established, to Arbroath Abbey, in free and perpetual alms, that land in Mondynes (KCD) near the Water of Bervie for a half ploughgate of land by its right bounds, as he himself and John of Hastings and Walter Scott (of Allardice) perambulated with the abbot of Arbroath and many others, for the souls of King David and King Mael Coluim, and others, and for the welfare of King William and of himself, with common pasture, free and quit from all cavalry service and army service and all other secular exaction and all works.
