Geoffrey Ridel has given, granted and by this his charter established to Kelso Abbey, in free and perpetual alms, the whole haugh of the territory of Primside (ROX), by stated bounds, free and quit from every secular exaction and inware and utware. He gave this land to the monks of Kelso for the salvation of his lord, King William, and Earl David, his brother, and for the salvation of his soul and all of his ancestors and successors.
