Description
Richard, son of Nicholas of Fans has given, granted and by his present charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey one acre in his tenement of Fans (BWK) which lies next to the common villa of Fans west of ‘Suthebuttes’, in free, pure and perpetual alms. Because he does not have his own seal, the seal of Henry Bell, his father-in-law, has been appended.
