Description
Eda, daughter of Nicholas of Fans, with the consent of John, her spouse, has given, granted and by her charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey, in pure and perpetual alms, for the welfare of the soul of John, her husband, one full half acre in the territory of Fans (BWK) which is next to that acre towards the east which Richard, her brother, gave the said canons. Because she does not have her own seal, the seal of her dear [father-in-law?] Henry Bell, has been appended.
