Description
Peter de Haga, lord of Bemersyde, for the welfare of the soul of Katherine his spouse, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Dryburgh Abbey all that part of his wood of ‘Flatwod’ (in Mertoun parish, BWK), by stated bounds, in free, pure and perpetual alms, with free entry and exit through all of his land with their carts and their things, except for lands sown with seed and unmown meadows.
