Description
William de Coleville, son of Thomas de Coleville, has given and granted, and by his charter established, to Newbattle Abbey with the body of Lady Amabilla his mother, the land that was Sir Thomas de Coleville his father’s in the villa of Berwick, which lies on the Ness between the land of William of ‘Luthe’ and the land of William ‘Spure’, in pure and perpetual alms, with all his right which he had in that land.
