Description
Warin son of Robert English (Anglicus) has given, granted and by this his charter established, to John Avenel son of his lord Gervase Avenel, all of his half ploughgate of Duddingston (WLO), in feu and heritage, with all its liberties, easements and other pertinents, free and quit from all service and exaction and custom, for a pound of cumin annually on the feast of St James the Apostle, and making forinsec service as pertains to a half ploughgate of land.
