Description
Alexander of Dalmahoy, knight, for the welfare of his wife Matilda, has given, granted and by this his present charter established, to Newbattle Abbey, free transit through his land of Dalmahoy (MLO) with their men with their wagons, animals and other things, outside the fields and meadows, coming and going from the abbey of Newbattle to their land of Drumpellier (LAN), and for one night, common pasture of his land of Dalmahoy if necessary.
