Haldan Brewer, with the consent of his wife, Matilda, has sold to the prior and convent of Coldingham the whole land that he bought from Ralph son of Elwold, as it lies by bounds in the countryside of Coldingham (bounds stated), in return for one mark of silver which they gave him in his great need.
