Description
John, once the swineherd of Coldingham, has given to St Cuthbert and St Abbe, and the prior and convent of Coldingham, in free alms, three and a half acres of land with a toft and croft in Great Reston, which Roger son of Adam of Reston gave him in return for a duel which he undertook for him, and won.
