Description
Gilbert Fraser and Christiana his wife have given, granted and by this charter established to Brinkburn Priory that land in Roxburgh next to the church of St James, which Ralph of ‘Petham’ (sic: Yetholm) gave in alms. They will and establish that the canons will hold the land in perpetual alms, free from all service, custom and exaction, for an annual render of 12d, half at Easter and half at the Feast of St Michael.
