Description
Roger son of Baudric, in his great and urgent necessity for the sustenance of his life, has sold to his lord Nicholas de la Haye for a certain sum of money which he paid to him by his [own] hands, that piece of his land in the territory of Aithmuir (PER), which lies between that acre of land that belongs to the mill of Aithmuir on the west and that oxgang of land that Roger gave to Coupar Angus Abbey, having and holding in perpetuity, free and quit of all services and demands, except that of wax every year, that is, of two stones of wax which he (Roger) answers for the said Nicholas in perpetuity.
