Description
Walter Oliphant has given and granted and by this his present charter has made firm to the church of Saint Cuthbert of Durham and the monks serving God there in free and perpetual alms two marks of silver each year from the church of Smailholm during the life of Fulco the clerk, and after his death two and a half marks every year for ever.
