Description
Henry son of Thurston son of Leving and Mary, his wife, daughter and heir of Roger of Skelbrooke, has granted and by this their charter established to Melrose Abbey the donation which Roger made to the monks, namely of the land of ‘Drumeteisuiene’, ‘Alesbiri’ and ‘Auchnephur’ (near Brown Carrick Hill, AYR), by the bounds in the charter of Roger, save half a mark each year from the land of ‘Auchnephur’ for recognition.
