- John Marischal of Keith has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Soutra Hospital in pure and perpetual alms all the land which lies in the territory of Johnstone (RNF) by stated bounds, including the house of Hugh of Johnstone and the land which Simon Fraser gave Soutra Hospital. He also grants rights to build a mill above the river of ‘Lyndeburne’.
