Document 3/452/3 (Glas. Reg., no. 126)

Description
Sir Walter Olifard junior, justiciar of Lothian, makes note that when the dispute was moved between Walter, bishop of Glasgow, and Jordan of Corra over the land of Stobo (PEB), it was agreed between them that the bishop had given to Jordan £100 for the good of peace. Jordan had restored to the bishop all instruments which he had concerning the land, renouncing all right in the land. Walter Olifard, with the consent of Jordan and the counsel of his friends, has received the said money from the bishop in full and has paid it to the said Jordan.
