Thomas, son of Thancard, has given and granted and by this his charter established to Arbroath Abbey, all the land between Auchter Water and South Calder Water (Auchterheadmuir, LAN) that King Malcolm IV gave to Thancard his father, in free, pure and perpetual alms, by its right bounds, with its just pertinents,
