Description
David of Lindsey makes known that since he and his heirs are obligated to pay a half stone of wax yearly to Dunfermline Abbey as a quitclaim for the piece of land that Elcho Priory is built on, in compensation for the said wax, he gives and grants to Dunfermline Abbey in perpetuity his toft in Haddington that William Broun held, with its pertinents. William is to hold the toft from the monks.
