Alexander de Vaux has granted, and by his charter established to the church of Gullane (ELO) one stone of wax from him and his heirs annually on the feast of St Andrew, in recognition of the rights that the said church has in the chapel founded by his predecessors in his territory of Dirleton (ELO).
