Description
Philip de Valognes has given, granted and by this his charter established to Coupar Angus Abbey one acre of land in his port of ‘Stinchindehauene’ (Stinking Haven, in Panbride ph. ANG), to make a toft and buildings, which was perambulated by Adam of Benvie and by other worthy men, in free, pure and perpetual alms, with fishery, and with easements of the sea, and also with all common easements which were reserved by his men living in that port.
