Description
Simon son of Thomas has sold, granted, and made firm by this present charter, and entirely quitclaimed for himself and his heirs or assignees for ever to the prior and convent of Coldingham 1 ploughgate of land in the villa of Renton, with tofts, crofts, liberties and easements, for 15 silver marks which the Prior and Convent paid him; namely that ploughgate he bought from John of Hunsingore, and which John bought from Patrick, dreng of the same villa; to the prior and convent of Coldingham and their successors to be held and had for ever.
