Description
Thomas of Morham has given and by his charter established to Newbattle Abbey in pure and perpetual alms license to build a millpond at Bearford (ELO) on his land and the bounds as the burn now flows and the whole marsh from the western side of the grange to the firm land of Morham (ELO), and until the ford (vadum) of Bearford.
