Description
John of Dunbar, burgess of Berwick, has given, granted, and by this present charter established to Dryburgh Abbey in pure and perpetual alms an annual render of 5s. from the land lying in ‘Revenysdem’ in the villa of Berwick in the land of Christina Couper on one side and his land on the other, falling annually from the hands of the inhabitants, on the two terminals, that is, half at Pentecost and half at Martinmas.
