Description
Amfrid cornaisarius (horn-blower) of Lanark, with the consent of his wife Gertrude and his heirs, for his welfare and for the soul of the lord king of Scotland, William, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Dryburgh Abbey, his land in Lanark which he holds in burgage from the lord king between the buildings(?) of Henry Uell and William the gate-keeper, in free, pure and perpetual alms, free and quit save the service of the lord king.
