Description
Robert of Bernham, burgess of Berwick, has given, granted and by this his charter established in pure and perpetual alms to St Andrews Priory 4s. from his land in Berwick, on the Ness that is next to the Tweed, in the western part of the street that extends from the east to the west, every year on Pentecost, for the lighting of the church.
